EXTRASTUDIO’s proposal, Enlace, features a park generated by an organic system of fluxes, for pedestrians and bicycles, connecting the overall urban fabric.
Focusing specially in self-sufficiency and sustainability, the proposal incorporates a system of water reservoirs and superficial drainage channels, los caminos energéticos, emancipating the park’s watering needs in a low-cost strategy.
The jury report highlights the wide pedestrian path network creating public clearings, the introduction of educational facilities for organic vegetable production and the creation of a system of water reservoirs.
